JESUS….THE CHRIST-MESSIAH-ONE, THE SON OF GOD

                                                          JESUS

                                              THE CHRIST OF THE BIBLE

More than 1900 years ago there was a Man born contrary to the laws of nature. This Man lived in poverty and was raised in obscurity. He did not travel extensively. Only once (Egypt) did He cross the boundary of the country in which He lived and that was during His exile in childhood.

He possessed neither name, wealth, nor influence. His relatives were inconspicuous, uninfluential, and had neither training nor education.

In infancy He startled a king, in childhood He puzzled the doctors, in manhood He ruled the course of nature, walked upon billows as if pavement and hushed the sea to sleep.

He never practiced medicine, and yet He has healed more broken hearts than all the doctors.

He healed multitudes without medicine and made no charge for His service.

He never wrote a book, yet all the libraries in the country could not hold the books that have been written about Him.

He never wrote a song, and yet He has furnished the theme for more songs than all the songwriters combined.

He never founded a college, but all the schools put together cannot boast of having as many students.

He never led an army, nor drafted a soldier, nor fired a gun, and yet no leader ever had more volunteers who have, under His orders, made more rebels stack arms and surrender with out a shot being fired.

He is the Star of astronomy, the Rock of geology, the Lion and Lamb of zoology. He is the Revealer of the snares that lurk in darkness, the Rebuker of every evil thing that prowls by night, the Quickner of all that is wholesum, the Adorner of all that is beautiful, the Reconciler of all that is contradictory and the Savior of all mankind.

He fills the pages of theology and hymnology. Every prayer that goes to GOD, goes in His name and is ask to be granted for His sake.

Every seventh day the world slows down and multitudes wind their way to worship, respect and pay homage to Him.

The names of past statesmen of Greece and Rome have come and gone. The names of past scientists, philosophers, and theologians have come and gone, but the name of this Man abounds more and more. Time has spread 1900 years between our generation and His crucifixion yet He still lives. Herod couldn't kill Him. Satan couldn't seduce Him, and death could not hold Him.

He stands upon the highest pinnacle of heavenly glory, proclaimed of GOD, acknowleged by angels, adored by saints and feared by devils, as the living, personal Christ, our Lord and Savior………AUTHOR UNKNOWN

John said

John 1:1-4  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

He was in the beginning with God.

All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.

John 1:14  And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 3:13  “No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.

John 3:31  “He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.

Jesus said

John 10:30   “I and My Father are one.”

John 8:58   Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

John 8:42  Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me.

John 16:28  “I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.”

John 17:5   “And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

John 17:24   “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

Paul said

Phil 2:5-7   Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,

6          who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,

7          but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.

Col 1:16  For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

Col 1:17   And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

Heb 1:2  God has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;

HAS HE ALWAYS BEEN THE SON OF GOD ?

SOME SAY THAT CHRIST WAS NOT THE “SON OF GOD” UNTIL AFTER HIS “BIRTH”

I DON’T THINK SO…..IF THERE IS NO SON THEN THERE IS NO FATHER

Prov 30:4  Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is His name, and what is His Son's name, if you know?

Rom 8:3  For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,
