ADAM  HAD GODS NATURE WHEN CREATED

On the cross, Christ dealt thoroughly with sin (John 1:29). Not only did He take away the penalty of sinful deeds of man, but He also dealt with his deeper problem, the sinful nature dwelling within him (Rom. 7:17).

Romans 5 through 7 presents a complete picture of man’s sinful nature. In many of these verses sin is actually personified. Sin entered the world, reigned in death, and lords it over man. The sin that dwells in our flesh/sarx instigates every kind of evil, and brings on death (there was no death until sin). Furthermore, Paul exhorts the believers not to serve sin as a master. These characterizations indicates that sin comprises more than mere outward wrongdoings. Sin in these verses refers to the desireable/sinful/satanic nature which man received when he ate the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. “Through one man sin entered into the world” (Rom. 5:12). Sin entered into mankind through Adam. The intrinsic factor of the fall was not merely a singular act of disobedience on Adam’s part; rather, something of Satan entered into man. This factor is sin, and appeals to our desires. The nature of sin indwells man and issues in the many acts of sin that he commits. How can God deal with this problem? How can man be released from the power operating in him, which causes him to sin? Man can only find true deliverance from the sin that dwells within him at the cross of Christ.

Christ came as the real Brass Serpent in order to deal with the “poison” within man, that is, the sinful nature which he received from the serpent, Satan. Not many have ever realized that Jesus Christ came to be the Brass Serpent. Just as the children of Israel were poisoned by the serpents in the wilderness, mankind as a whole was injected with the serpentine nature of Satan in the garden. And just as the Israelites were rescued by looking at the serpent of brass lifted up on the pole, so fallen, sinful man is rescued from his sin by believing in the Christ crucified on the cross. This wonderful parallel is apparent when the statement in Numbers 21:9: “When he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived” is compared with John 3:16: “every one who believes into Him would not perish, but would have eternal life.”

LOVING OTHERS

You would think that if we could know anything, it would be our own nature, yet the attempt to understand human nature ultimately falls short. WHY?  (BillBelieves) Because it’s NOT human nature.

Holy, (addressing GOD) =Total Purity- separated from sin –Devine Father…         

holy (addressing MAN)= washed/cleansed –forgiven –adopted son

Godly  Ps 1  read…, 1-4  definition of Godly… and ungodly

When we consider the promises and provisions of God, we can see that He gave them to us, so we would be able fulfill His purpose. We CAN become Godly and holy. We can live in continual fellowship with Him,  Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Consider:    are you Godly and holy? Are you Christlike in your lifestyle? Are you filled with His Presence? Is the working of the Holy Spirit evident in your life?

How can we demonstrate Godliness and holiness? By believing and practicing what the Gospel of Jesus Christ teaches. Look at John 14:21,23: "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my father will love him, and I will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him."    THIS IS GOD’S PURPOSE –GOAL- FOR US!

Gen 2:7   God breathed – breath of life  - living soul

Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.   BB(I believe Adam had the very Nature and Spirit of Christ), … The Spirit of Christ, per Romans 8:9 is not the Biblical baptism with the Holy Spirit, as noted in Acts 2:4. It IS the very Nature and essence of Christ, and thus it is called the Spirit of Christ. It is a function of the Holy Spirit, in a similar way  with the conception of Jesus Christ in the womb of the virgin Mary.

Luke 1:35 "And the angel said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God." THAT impartation of Divine life in the human body of Jesus Christ was what Paul called the Spirit of Christ. The humanity of Jesus Christ was generated by the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, so that he was born into the world, a human baby, yet his nature being Divine, the Nature of God!

When a believer is born again, born of the water and of the Spirit, as Jesus said in John 3:3-5, Divine Nature is re-generated in him, and he is CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS, according to Ephesians 2:10: "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath ordained that we should walk in them."

 Titus 3:4-5 –But when the kindness and the love of God our savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.

Renewing means it has been there before)…. There is a promise of a new spirit for those that respond to God, as noted in Ezekiel 11:19: "And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony(dead) heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh(alive): [WHY] that they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God."

 

Gen 2:16-17            And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

THEN THE MASTER DECEIVER APPEARS

Gen 3:6-7 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes(fleshly) of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

THEY REJECTED GODS DIVINE NATURE AND ACCEPTED SATANS DESIRABLE NATURE  THAT ACT GAVE THEM AND US OUR FLESHLY - HUMAN – NATURE, THE NATURE OF SATAN.  SO THAT WHEN MAN BROKE FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD, THE JUDGEMENT OF GOD RESTED ON ALL MANKIND

Rom 5:12            Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

FROM THAT TIME ON, MANKIND HAS HAD THE NATURE OF SATAN

DESIRING, LOVING SELF,  A SELFISH NATURE

WE CALL IT HUMAN NATURE, IT IS A CURSED NATURE

1John 2:16 For all that is in the world- the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life- is not of the Father but is of(satan) this world.   GO TO MATTHEW 4  the temptations- the same as Eve!!

WE ARE COMFORTABLE WITH OUR SELFISH NATURE AND ENJOY SATISFYING THE DESIRES OF OUR FLESH AND LIVING FOR OURSELVES. WE DON’T REALIZE THAT IT IS SATANS NATURE AND THAT WE ARE WALKING IN AGREEMENT WITH SATAN WHEN WE WALK BY

“SIGHT”. THIS FLESH NATURE IS HOSTILE TO GOD AND WILL NOT SUBJECT ITSELF TO THE LAW OF GOD

Rom 8:6-7 "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God."

In Genesis chapter 2 God warned man, represented by Adam, not to partake of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If he ate of it, God said, he would “surely die”(v. 17). In Genesis 3 man partook of the tree after Eve was  seduced by the serpent, the Devil (v. 6). By partaking of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, Adam and Eve were “engrafted” by Satan’s sinful nature. This is referred to as the “fall,” for through this act all mankind became corrupted, damaged, and constituted with the sinful nature of Satan.

Romans 5:12. (above)      Because man took in Satan's life, un-regenerated man(AND REGENERATED ALSO IF WE ALLOW IT) is under the control of the satanic nature inwardly as well as the authority of Satan outwardly. The Bible calls Satan "the god of this age." Man is blinded by him. Man is in the hand of this evil one and is unconscious of what the evil one is doing to and in him. Satan's desire is to ruin and kill all men.

The real and living God created man, but he sold out to the god of this age. The universal tragedy is that the very man who was to be in dominion, living and ruling God's kingdom, has become a slave dying in Satan's kingdom. Mans condition today is not God's original creation, and we need to see that we do/can have victory. It’s already been won for us………

EPH 2:1-5   Among  whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath(that’s satan), even as others.

MAN NEEDS REGENERATION NOT BECAUSE OF HIS SINFUL OUTWARD CONDUCT, BUT BECAUSE OF HIS SINFUL INWARD CONSTITUTION. WE ARE NOT SINNERS BECAUSE WE SIN; WE SIN BECAUSE WE ARE CONSTITUTED WITH THE SATANIC NATURE. MAN IS CORRUPTED AND FALLEN BY NATURE DUE TO THIS INWARD ELEMENT, NOT TO THE OUTWARD ACTIONS

THE POWER AND AUTHORITY OF SIN OVER MAN MUST BE BROKEN..    HOW? 

 ENTER JESUS  

1 Cor 15:21-22   For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.

John 3:3  Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."   John 3:6   That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. HOW DID ADAM GET BORN OF THE FLESH?????    You got it!   Desire/satan!

Romans 8:9-11-born again.  God has no intention of improving our fallen condition; instead, He desires to change our nature, our constitution, through regeneration. He is able to add Himself into us so that we might become partakers of His devine nature  2 Peter 1:4  “by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”

"Regeneration is not a change in the old nature, but is the introduction of a new. . . . does the introduction of this new nature alter the character of the old?  NO,  the old nature continues to be what it was, and is made in no respect better; yea, rather, there is a full display of its evil character in opposition of the new element."  We must Overcome it

Gal 5:16-25   read   All the works of the flesh/satanic  (Galatians 5:19), are non-existent in Heaven.

The new nature has its own desires, its own habits, its own tendencies, its own affections. All of these are spiritual, heavenly, divine. All the desires of the new nature are upward.

WE WILL BE RECONSTITUTED WITH HIS LIFE Galatians 2:20  I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

MAN’S ONLY HOPE IS TO BURY THE FALLEN, OLD CONSTITUTION, TO PUT IT TO DEATH, AND TO RECEIVE THE LIFE OF GOD

Romans 6:3-9. Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, 6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. 7 For he who has died has been freed from sin. 8 Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, 9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. REV 1:18  I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys(control) of Hell and Death.

Rom 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin, which is in my members.  24  O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? 25  I thank God--through Jesus Christ (the WORD) our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

The Word says, "Old things are passed away..." (2 Corinthians 5:17).

We follow the Lord in His death, burial and resurrection. (That is fulfilled by repentance, water baptism in His name, and being filled with His spirit.) But...

Our carnal(satanic) nature is still with us.                Overcomer-

Paul said, "I die daily," (1 Corinthians 15:31). The human(satanic) will and desires perpetually return. They are present and must be reckoned with a lot of the time. "I am crucified with Christ..." (Galatians 2:20). The mind is alert to the members of the body.

When the stomach needs food, the mind utilizes the eyes, hands and feet to find and get food. Every desire of the body appeals to the mind for satisfaction. Meanwhile, God's Spirit contends with each man to deny the fleshly(evil/satanic) lusts. Eternal purposes must be accomplished instead of temporal desires.

The memories of all the sins we have ever committed are stored somewhere in our brains. In the unconverted man, sins are freely revived, and mentally relived or physically reenacted. But the disciple of Christ actively resists the reoccurrence of sinful tendencies(or SHOULD) by overcoming evil with good (see Romans 12:21).

Overcome Evil with Good

1 Cor 15:33    Do not be deceived: "Evil company corrupts good habits."

Rom 6:16-23   16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? 17 But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. 18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. 19 I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness. 20 For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. 21 What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. 22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The sinful(satanic) nature is still ever-present, but because we activate the Word of God, and the Spirit of Christ in our everyday living, the sins of the satanic nature should not be allowed to resurface. We must act quickly to abort every attempt of the satanic flesh to reassert itself, giving no place to the devil, and taking the mind of Christ as our entire mindset.

Jesus' prayer was "Thy will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven."

None of the works of the flesh are named among the holy angels. And none of them should be named among the saints. BUT THEY ARE SOMETIMES… EXAMPLE  ...

2 Samuel chapter l1 the Bathsheba event..    and  THE PRODIGAL SON…  It is hard to tell a CARNAL/SATANIC christian from an unsaved man.. James 3:10  Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. 

"Sin" which derives from the Greek word hamartia literally means "missing the mark."

 

What can I do….    Try fasting 

WHY DID THE PEOPLE FAST???     TO GET BACK ON TRACK     1Cor 9:27

According to Ptolemy, refraining from sin and acting out of love is true spiritual fasting. An essential part of this "fasting" is to avoid fleshly/worldly things. Spiritual matters and love of others must take precedence since "No one can serve two masters" (Matthew 6:24).   Many people believe Fasting is to move the hand of GOD, actually it is to make Satan turn loose of the things he is holding…. 

ISAIAH 58:6   6 "Is this not the fast that I have chosen: To loose the bonds of wickedness, To undo the heavy burdens, To let the oppressed go free, And that you break every yoke?

 

1 Cor 5:5  deals with our satanic nature if we don’t deal with it…  WHERE ARE YOU TODAY??

Lordship…  NEW WORD   John 20:28..  Thomas said  to Jesus “my LORD and my GOD. Lordship is a new foundation, a new disposition, is implanted in the soul, it should replace our old ego(drive), and it will, if you feed it the WORD. The Christian is one person with two struggling principles, and the new principle is destined to conquer the old.    LOOK

1 Cor 15:50-58

 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed-- 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory." 

55 "O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?" 

56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Look at  52 the dead will be raised incorruptible,  raised without the satanic nature    see v:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

We will be changed at this time, the satanic nature(the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil) will be removed AND we will receive the fruit of the Tree of Life that God kept Adam from eating

Gen 3:22    Then the LORD God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever"--  

AND  our fleshly eyes will be changed back into “spiritual” eyes……..

THIS IS FROM “the forgotten books of eden” . 2 And indeed, when Adam looked at his flesh, that was altered, he cried bitterly, he and Eve, over what they had done. And they walked and went gently down into the Cave of Treasures. 3 And as they came to it, Adam cried over himself and said to Eve, "Look at this cave that is to be our prison in this world, and a place of punishment! 4 What is it compared with the garden? What is its narrowness compared with the space of the garden? 5 What is this rock, by the side of those groves? What is the gloom of this cavern, compared with the light of the garden? 6 What is this overhanging ledge of rock to shelter us, compared with the mercy of the Lord that overshadowed us? 7 What is the soil of this cave compared with the garden land? This earth, strewed with stones; and the Garden, planted with delicious fruit trees?" 8 And Adam said to Eve, "Look at your eyes, and at mine, which before beheld angels praising in heaven; and they too, without ceasing. 9 But now we do not see as we did; our eyes have become of flesh; they cannot see like they used to see before." 10 Adam said again to Eve, "What is our body today, compared to what it was in former days, when we lived in the garden?"

NOW LETS USE OUR BIBLE and see some Spiritual eyes.

Gen 28:12-16  Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. 13 And behold, the LORD stood above it and said: "I am the LORD God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants. 14 Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. 15 Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you."

Rev 1:1-2   The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants--things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 2. who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw.

Rev 1:10-11  I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet, 11. saying, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last," and, "What you see, write in a book

Rev 4:1-4  After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, "Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this." 2 Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. 3 And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.
