Holy

In those days there was no king in Israel(meaning they did not accept GOD as their King); everyone did what was right in his own eyes (Judges 21:25).

What about me? Am I waiting for Jesus to come back and be King??  Or is He King  now…   GOD was not, and JESUS is not a valet.  “hay I need  ***” Lord gimmie,  do this…  do that… where do we live???

Do we think of God on our own level??   Be ye Holy for I am Holy..

What were we made for? To know God. What aim should we set ourselves in life? To know God. What is the ‘eternal life’ that Jesus gives? Knowledge of God. ‘This is life eternal, that they might know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent’ (John 17:3). What is the best thing in life, bringing more joy, delight, and contentment, than anything else? Knowledge of God.

‘Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches; but let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me’ (Jer. 9:23f.). c.

What, of all the states God ever sees us in, gives Him most pleasure? Knowledge of Himself. ‘I desire . . . the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings,’ says God (Hos. 6:6) . .

That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death (Philippians 3:10).

Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we shall be. We know that, when He appears, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him just as He is (1 John 3:2).

For this reason, I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man; so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; [and] that you, being rooted and grounded in love,  may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fulness of God (Ephesians 3:14-19).

1 Peter 1:- has begotten us AGAIN…. Have you lost it???

Luke 22:31-32            "Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded {permission} to sift you like wheat;

but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers."(NAS)

Luke 22:31-32            "Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat.            But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers."(NIV)

Luke 22:31-32        And the Lord said, "Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.            "But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren."(NKJ)

Jere 15:19— 19 Therefore this is what the LORD says:
       "If you repent, I will restore you
       that you may serve me;
       if you utter worthy, not worthless, words,
       you will be my spokesman.
       Let this people turn to you,
       but you must not turn to them.

 20 I will make you a wall to this people,
       a fortified wall of bronze;
       they will fight against you
       but will not overcome you,
       for I am with you
       to rescue and save you,"
       declares the LORD.

 21 "I will save you from the hands of the wicked
       and redeem you from the grasp of the cruel."

1Peter 1  6In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7These have come so that your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 8Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

Luke 24:13-  sad? 25-  understanding….  the road...

1Peter 7-   END of your Faith…  when we are in His presence we wont need any faith….  We will know that our salvation is complete…
