Gen 8:4   And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.

NOW WHY DO YOU THINK GOD TOLD US THIS DATE…… 

THE ARK WAS A PREPARED PLACE OF SAFETY

Ex 3:18    And they shall hearken to thy voice: and thou shalt come, thou and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and ye shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews hath met with us: and now let us go, we beseech thee, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.

Ex 12:1-6

And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,  2 This month (NISSAN) shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. 3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: 4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.

5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats: 6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

Ex 12:14  PASSOVER the 14^th……    And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

Ex 12:31  And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said.

Ex 13:20    the 15^th  And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness.

 Ex 14:2   the 16^th  Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baal-zephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea.

Ex 14:20   the 17^th    And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.  21And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.  22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

THEY COMPLETED THEIR THREE DAY JOURNEY TO A PREPARED PLACE OF SAFETY ON THE 17^th     Hmmmmm     same day the Ark landed …  my my my.    And there is more…

In Luke 19, Jesus (the Lamb of God) rides into Jerusalem on Nissan 10,  the day the people are to select a Passover lamb, but they didn’t choose Jesus…..  “they should have known”

He was crucified on the 14^th, and arose three days later, on the 17^th.

And has prepared a place of safety for all who will accept Him…
