COVENANT

The animals are cut in half separated left and right, two people face each other with the halves to their back. They exchanged their robes(I put on you, you put on me) they exchanged belts(my strength is yours, yours is mine) and weapons(your enemies are mine, mine are yours) they walk a figure eight path between the pieces, sharing the blood. [some would cut wrist and mingle blood also and the scar would be a reminder of the covenant] meeting back between the pieces to hug, pledging themselves as one, (what is mine is yours and yours is mine). They exchanged identity in oneness and shared a covenant meal.

In a covenant the two(Heb 2:9 Gal 4:6) are accepted(abba) as equals
